Honey Capsules
Beeswax, 2020
This project started from observing bee hives and their production of honey.
The bees produce wax and honey, Humans take the honey and transfer it into jars. Most of the beeswax is then thrown away.
Working with the beeswax has led me to the development of a more natural and friendly packaging solution for honey.
Why not re-use the natural substance for its original natural use of storing honey?During the process I had multiple directions for designing the unit and capsule shapes. I decided to continue with a shape that connects to the subject of this project - bees, wax and honey.
The user can connect the content of the capsule to the unit shape and also understand how to use it.
