The brief of the course was a generic chair and my intention was to stay as close as possible to that goal.

I took the chair and broke it down to its main components - a seat, a backrest and four legs - then I reassembled them over a construction that gave a feeling of 

levitation between the parts.

My design was guided by how to efficiently produce this chair on an industrial scale.
