Inside out Binoculars, 2019
bachelor in industrial design
During the semester I analyzed and took apart binoculars in order to understand the internal structure. I realized that there are no plastic parts inside.
The binocular is all metal and glass inside and only the outer shell is made out of plastic. So I decided to reverse the order, take the metal out of the plastic and place the metal in the users hands.
The design was kept simple to emphasise the materials.
